Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Llanelli 2000

This year, for the first time, the Madog Center and the University of Rio Grande were represented in the National Eisteddfod of Wales.

For a whole week Mark Abell, Executive Director of Admissions and Kara Lewis worked in the booth which attracted much attention.  Ellie Drummond, former Rio Grande student assisted along with Welsh friends Caryl Evans and her students, Sue Bayliss, Andrew Tweed a Ned Evans.  You can see pictures of the team in the album below.

The group took part in the Wales International Ceremony where they represented Rio Grande and America.
